As a Janitorial Supervisor, you will oversee daily cleaning operations, support and guide janitorial staff, and ensure that all areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and enjoys leading a team to achieve outstanding results in a collaborative setting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate daily cleaning assignments for janitorial staff to ensure all areas of the facility are maintained to high standards.
• Ensure cleaning equipment and supplies are prepared and available for staff at the start of each shift.
• Monitor staff attendance, verify clock-in and clock-out times using the designated application, and report absences to office personnel.
• Distribute keys, QR codes, and special equipment to staff as needed, and address any facility requests or complaints promptly.
• Conduct regular facility walkthroughs to inspect cleanliness, check supply dispensers, and provide on-the-spot retraining or support as necessary.
• Collect keys and ensure all equipment and supplies are properly stored at the end of each shift.
• Perform final walkthroughs to confirm all doors are secured, lights are off, and alarms are set.
• Complete additional duties and special projects as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in janitorial, custodial, or facility maintenance roles preferred.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with staff and management.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Basic proficiency with mobile or web-based timekeeping applications.
• Ability to respond promptly to facility needs and resolve issues efficiently.
